King of Belgium condemns war on Gaza

King Philippe of Belgium has spoken out against the “humanitarian abuses” in Gaza and the wider conflict on the enclave affecting the life of civilians, Al-Monitor via Reuters reported on July 21st.
The king said in his Brussels palace: “I add my voice to all those who denounce the serious humanitarian abuses in Gaza, where innocent people are dying of hunger and being killed by bombs while trapped in their enclaves.”
The king described the situation in Gaza as “a disgrace to all of humanity.” This marks the first time the king has so firmly, clearly and openly discussed a conflict.
