Israel’s Knesset have given the green light to a motion pushing for the occupied West Bank’s annexation on July 23rd, the most recent bid to bolster Israel’s control of the territory, according to Middle East Eye.

Although the proposal is non-binding, it will help accelerate a potential move on the West Bank, which Israel has occupied since 1967.

The proposal said: “This move would make it clear to the world that Israel will not accept solutions that involve dangerous territorial concessions, and that it is committed to its future as a secure Jewish state.”
