UK ministers have been urged to help students in Gaza secure places in British universities, who are not able to be admitted in the institutions in September due to government restrictions, The Guardian reported on July 23rd.

The 40 Gazan students have been given full scholarship offers to pursue their studies in British universities. Reportedly, a high-level meeting took place at the Home Office on July 22nd, following an effort by parliament members and campaigners to emphasise the issues facing the students.

They urged ministers to help attain the students entry into the UK. Some of the students have already been killed, while others are believed to be continuously facing danger.
