Libya calls on international community to end Gaza blockade
On July 24th, the Libyan House of Representatives issued a statement warning that Israel’s blockade is causing mass starvation across Gaza, according to the Libya Review.
Their statement urged the international community, including the UN Security Council and the United Nations to intervene and allow unrestricted humanitarian aid into the area.
The parliament also called on Arab and Islamic parliaments to take firmer stances against Israel’s actions, stating that they “are a blatant breach of all international and humanitarian laws and conventions.”
