There is no evidence Hamas stole aid, Israeli official says

A military official from Israel has said there is no proof Hamas has stolen aid, despite the country claiming the Palestinian militant group has been doing so for nearly two years, according to The New Arab on July 26th.

Two military officials as well as two other Israelis said to reporters that there was no evidence to indicate Hamas was regularly removing aid provisions from the United Nations, but that the UN aid system was in fact successful, despite Israel’s claims that it was not working.

The remarks come against the backdrop of 123 Palestinians starving to death as Israel’s blockade on the Gaza Strip continues.
