Libya: armed group clash kills notorious paramilitary leader

Early in the morning on July 28th, an altercation broke out between two families in Libya, killing the notorious leader of a paramilitary group known as Third Company who are loyal to the Tripoli government, according to the Libya Observer on July 28th.
A dispute between the two families led to a deadly shootout, which killed militia leader Ramzi Lefaa, two members of his family and three of the family they were fighting.
The Ministry of Interior called an emergency meeting following the incident with security leaders, and they stressed the need to increase security deployments and patrols as well as cooperation to prevent these incidents in future.
