West Bank: Palestinians demonstrate against Gaza conflict
Thousands of Palestinians took to the streets in key cities across the occupied West Bank on August 3rd, to protest against the conflict in Gaza, Al-Monitor via AFP reported.
One of the biggest rallies happened in Ramallah, as hundreds gathered waving Palestinian flags. Images of Palestinians that have been killed by Israel or put under Israeli detention were held by demonstrators.
Images which show the hunger issue of the Gaza Strip were also carried by demonstrators. One protestor, called Rula Ghanem, said: “My son is in (Israel’s) Megido prison and he suffers from many things, such as the lack of medicine the lack of food.”
