Notorious drug lords killed by Lebanese army in raid

The Lebanese army declared on July 6th that it had killed three of the country’s most infamous drug lords in a security mission in the city of Baalbek, according to The New Arab plus agencies.
The army said in a statement it had gone after a vehicle which was holding three wanted men in Baalbek’s Sharawneh area, when a shootout led to the deaths of all three.
According to the army, the men were also wanted over murdering army members, “kidnapping, armed robbery” and were also responsible for “attacks on army patrols and posts.”
