Egypt, Qatar and Turkey draft ceasefire proposal to end Gaza war
Egypt, Qatar and Turkey are to present Hamas negotiators with a newly drafted Gaza ceasefire proposal which would end the Gaza conflict and free the hostages, Middle East Eye via Sky News in Arabic reported on August 12th.
The Israeli Defence Forces would also be placed under American and Arab supervision until a deal is reached to commence the disarmament of Hamas and establish an alternative political authority in Gaza.
The proposal is designed to “strip any excuse for occupying Gaza from Benjamin Netanyahu”. The plan will be sent to Israel via the American mediators if Hamas okays the proposal.
