Madonna urges Pope to go to Gaza, pushes for humanitarian aid

The US singer, Madonna, has urged Pope Leo to visit Gaza, as the humanitarian crisis in the enclave continues to worsen, Middle East Eye via AP reported on August 12th.

In an Instagram post on the evening of August 11th, the singer said: “Most Holy Father, Please go to Gaza and bring your light to the children before it’s too late.”

The singer appeared to urge for full aid entry into the enclave to “save” the children in Gaza. She stressed that as a mother she cannot cope with seeing the crisis they are facing.
