Family presses Morocco over missing son Clément Besneville

16 months after their son vanished from Morocco’s capital, the Besnevilles say the Moroccan justice system has offered only empty promises. In an interview with Maghrebi, Mr. Didier Besneville reveals key insights into the night of his son’s disappearance.
29-year-old Clément Besneville disappeared on April 10th 2024, the night before signing a lease for a pizzeria, with neighbours reporting a door slam around 10:30 p.m.
Police later found all his belongings — including a phone, passport, and cash — inside the apartment, along with traces of his blood.
With the case stalled, the family plans to return to Rabat in September to push for answers.
