Ex-UK PM Blair joins talks with Trump for Gaza’s post-war plan

Ex-UK Prime Minister Tony Blair is participating in talks in the US, led by President Donald Trump, concerning plans for post-war Gaza, the BBC reported on August 27th.

According to Axios, Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and ex-senior advisor is also participating in the talks. The agenda for the meeting includes increasing aid to Gaza.

The US is creating a “very comprehensive” plan about “the next day” after the Gaza war, according to Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff. The meeting follows the Israeli military’s claim that the evacuation of Gaza City was unavoidable.
