Algeria accused of smuggling Ukrainian weapons

Algeria has allegedly enabled the transfer of Ukrainian weapons to terrorist organisations that are active in Sahel nations, as reported by Maghrebi Week on September 1st.
The accusation has reportedly been made by the director of the Officers Union for International Security, Alexander Ivanov. Reportedly, Ukraine’s intelligence services are using the diplomatic cover found within embassies to give equipment to armed groups operating in Africa.
This is not he first time there have been allegations that Ukrainian weapons have been found in the black market. The fact-checking organisation Snopes, said that Russia has accused Nigerian fighters and Mexican cartels of being armed by Ukraine.
