Qatar denounces Israeli attack on leadership of Hamas

The foreign ministry of Qatar has released a statement which strongly denounces Israel’s attack on Doha buildings where Hamas leaders were present, according to Middle East Eye on September 9th.

The spokesperson for Qatar’s foreign ministry, Majed Al Ansari, said: “This criminal attack constitutes a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms and a serious threat to the security and safety of Qataris and residents of Qatar.”

The statement also said that investigations are currently going ahead “at the highest level” and additional details are yet to be announced.
