UK court drops terrorism charges against Kneecap rapper

According to Middle East Eye, a UK court has dismissed terrorism charges against Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, also known as Mo Chara, from the Irish rap group Kneecap, on September 25th.
The charges were brought under the Terrorism Act and related to allegations that he displayed a Hezbollah flag during a London concert in November 2024.
Judge Paul Goldspring ruled the case “unlawful and null”, as it was filed after the six-month legal limit, and discharged the rapper from judgment.
