Algeria: Six dead at Tunisian Border

Six people were found dead near the Tunisian border, killed by the Algerian army according to Maghrebi Week on 24th September.

The deaths were reported to be part of a military raid conducted in the background of political tensions between the Algerian government and extremist groups. The six people killed by the army at the Tunisian border were found to be armed with guns and ammunition.

Whether or not the actions taken were justified on Algeria’s behalf remains unknown.
