Israeli army raids homes of Palestinian prisoners
The homes of Palestinian prisoners in the Occupied West Bank were raided by the Israeli army, the Middle East Eye reported on October 12th.
The raids occurred on October 12th, ahead of the agreed release of 250 Palestinians serving life sentences or lengthy sentences, along with 1,700 detainees from the Gaza Strip. Under the agreement, Hamas in return frees the remaining Israeli hostages, including those who are dead.
This exchange is part of a US-led ceasefire agreement that hopes to end the two-year conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
