Algeria to open Africa’s largest R&D hub to drive innovation

Minister of Post and Telecommunications Sid Ali Zerrouki announced that the largest R&D centre in Africa will be inaugurated in Algiers, according to AL24 News on 16th October.
Zerrouki has highlighted that the centre will play a role in boosting technological innovation and advancing Algeria’s digital transformation.
The R&D centre will partner with “global technology leaders” to enhance collaboration and knowledge exchange. It will function as an open space for young researchers and developers to turn innovative ideas into practical, economically beneficial projects.
