US envoys discuss regional updates with Israel
US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss regional developments on October 20th, according to a report by the Middle East Eye plus agencies.
The news came amid reports that Witkoff planned to leave his role in the administration of US President Donald Trump, which Witkoff denied.
Both Witkoff and Kushner have played a key role in mediating a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which was accepted following negotiations.
