Jared Kushner suggests only rebuilding Hamas-free parts of Gaza

At a news conference on October 22nd, Jared Kushner suggested that Gaza reconstruction funds should only be allocated to areas occupied by Israel, according to a report by the Middle East Eye via agencies on the same day.

The former senior advisor and son-in-law of US President Donald Trump has been heavily involved in negotiating a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

Kushner also proposed that funding would be denied to areas of Gaza under Hamas control.
