The Gen Z movement in Madagascar which had contributed towards the ouster of President Andry Rajoelina, have voiced their opposition to the prime minister that has been selected by the new president of the African country, the BBC reported on October 21st.

Col Michael Randrianirina was sworn in as the president of the country on October 17th. Randrianirina named Herintsalama Rajaonarivelo, who is a businessman, as the new prime minister.

The movement, Gen Z Mada, said that the move “runs contrary to the desired structural change” the group is eyeing and has urged to be told how the new prime minister was chosen.
