Palestinian doctor prevented from speaking at hearing in UK
Dr Rahmeh Aladwan, a British-Palestinian doctor, charged with sending malicious communications, was prevented from speaking at her disciplinary hearing in the UK, reported The New Arab plus agencies on October 23rd.
Arrested on grounds of inciting racial hatred, Dr Aladwan had a disciplinary hearing with the General Medical Council (GMC) during which she was interrupted and prevented from speaking or questioning.
Dr Aladwan’s legal team maintains the position that with no prior complaints, she carries no risk to patients, and has the right to free expression. More
