Israeli strike did not breach Gaza ceasefire, says Marco Rubio
The US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, said that an Israeli strike on Gaza did not violate the ceasefire, according to a report by Asharq Al-Awsat via agencies on October 27th.
Speaking on US President Donald Trump’s plane during the administration’s trip to Asia, Rubio explained: “We don’t view [the strike] as a violation of the ceasefire.”
Israel claims that the strike, which occurred on October 25th, targeted a member of the Islamic Jihad group who was allegedly intending to attack Israeli soldiers.
