Palestinian doctor arrested over social media posts
British-Palestinian NHS doctor Dr. Rahmeh Aladwan was arrested over social media posts supporting Palestine, accused of inciting racial hatred and endorsing armed resistance.
At her GMC disciplinary hearing, she was reportedly cut off mid-sentence and barred from questioning panel members, The New Arab plus agencies reported on October 23rd, leaving her unable to defend herself.
Her legal team calls the process “political theatre,” highlighting alleged external pressure, denial of basic rights, and raising serious questions about free speech and the future of her medical career. More
