Canada: plot to attack pro-Palestine protestors thwarted
A woman has been arrested in the Canadian city of Toronto for trying to carry out a chemical attack on pro-Palestine protestors, as reported by the Middle East Eye and agencies on November 3rd.
Footage showed the woman, who was wearing a Jewish Defence League (JDL) jumper, shaking a bottle that reportedly contained reagent-grade ammonium hydroxide, a toxic laboratory chemical which can create extreme burns and damage to the lungs.
Canada has recognised a Palestinian state, alongside Australia and the UK. This decision has been met with backlash from Israel and its supporters.
