Donald Trump denies that Gaza ceasefire is fragile
US President Donald Trump told CBS’s 60 Minutes on November 3rd that the Gaza ceasefire deal is “very solid”, as reported by the Middle East Eye and agencies on the same day.
He told the broadcaster: “The ceasefire agreement in Gaza is not fragile, but very solid.” He added: “I would force Hamas to disarm very quickly if I wanted to, and it would be eliminated.”
Trump also pledged to support Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He said that he does not think Netanyahu is being treated well in Israel, and will intervene to help him because he believes the Israeli leader is being subjected to great injustice.
