The Gaza Strip is at risk of being partitioned in a de facto territorial separation, while attempts to advance US President Donald Trump’s peace plan is purportedly stalling, according to The Arab Weekly and agencies on November 12th.

Under the US-led ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas, which took effect on October 10th, Israeli forces were supposed to withdraw from the Palestinian territory to the “yellow line.”

US President Donald Trump has proposed building a “New Gaza” in the Israeli-occupied parts of Gaza, which could mean that such a proposal might split Gaza into one area under Israeli control and another under Hamas control.
