Israel’s military confirms it carried out airstrikes in Lebanon

The Israeli military has confirmed that it has carried out airstrikes in south Lebanon, according to the Middle East Eye and agencies on November 13th.

According to the military, the strikes were targeting a “weapons storage facility and underground infrastructure used by Hezbollah.”

This comes amid a declaration from the militant group’s leader Naim Qassem, as reported on November 12th, which said the group would not relinquish its weapons.
