Syria’s Foreign Minister, Asaad al-Shibani reopened the nation’s London-based embassy on November 13th, as reported by Asharq Al-Awsat and agencies.

The London embassy had been closed for over a decade prior to the announcement, with the reopening being the nation’s latest step in reintegration into the international community after the ouster of former leader Bashar Assad.

On November 6th, the UN voted to remove sanctions against President Ahmed al-Sharaa, signalling the Syrian government’s normalisation of international relations.
