East of Jerusalem: Bedouins attacked by Israeli settlers
The Bedouin community of al-Tabna, near Khan al-Ahmar, east of occupied Jerusalem, was attacked by Israeli settlers on November 17th, according to a report from the Middle East Eye via Wafa news agency.
Israeli settlers reportedly threw stones at residents’ homes and property, while also using loudspeakers during the night and driving off-road vehicles near the Bedouin peoples homes to cause a disturbance.
Residents are facing increasing attacks by Israeli settlers whose aim is to displace communities to make way for Jewish-only settlements, which could see East Jerusalem cut off from the Occupied West Bank.
