Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, met Oman’s Ambassador to Tunisia, Hilal al-Sanani, to discuss the bolstering of bilateral ties between Oman and Libya, the Libya Gazette reported on November 17th.

The two expressed mutual interest in enhanced economic collaboration between the nations, with an emphasis placed on strengthening their energy and investment ties.

Although Dbeibah only represents one of the two rival governments that are fuelling the ongoing political tension in Libya, his meeting with Al-Sanani represents his interest in rebuilding the country.
