Russia: US is acting in bad faith over Gaza

Russia’s envoy to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, has accused the Trump administration of acting in “bad faith” over its Gaza peace plan, according to Middle East Eye and agencies on November 18th.

Amid the UN Security Council approving the US-drafted plan, the Russian diplomat highlighted the plan’s lack of clarity surrounding cooperation with the Palestinian Authority.

He further raised concerns about how the plan could firmly establish the separation between Gaza and the West Bank, complicating any possibility of a Palestinian state.
