Yemen invited to join International force in Gaza
The Trump administration has invited Yemen to join the International Stabilisation Force which will be deployed in Gaza, according to Yemeni officials, as reported by Al Arabiya via AFP on November 20th.
Following the UN vote on the US-drafted peace plan, preparations have ramped up to enlist soldiers, but some Arab countries have been reticent to send forces.
The Yemeni government is reportedly yet to respond but any participation would aggravate the Iran-backed Houthis, which are also an ally of Hamas.
