Abu Dhabi to host first MENA self-driving vehicle test facility
Abu Dhabi, is set to host the first self-driving vehicle test facility in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, the Libya Gazette and Maghrebi Week reported on November 24th.
The facility, known as the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Vehicle Test Hub, will be hosted in order to deliver the safe rollout of self-driving vehicles.
Abu Dhabi’s test hub aims to recreate urban, suburban and mixed-use environments to examine the performance of automated vehicles across different terrain.
