Israeli settlers not punished for West Bank violence
An Israeli rights organisation has claimed that settlers responsible for killing Palestinians in the Occupied West Bank frequently go unpunished, according to the Middle East Eye and agencies on November 25th.
B’Tselem, an Israeli human rights group, found that there were 21 cases of settlers killing Palestinians since October 2023; the group claimed that “not a single perpetrator has been convicted.”
In the same time frame, the group estimates that over 1000 Palestinians in the West Bank were killed by Israeli settlers or by Israeli forces, including 217 children.
