Spain welcomes Moroccan Prime Minister for high-level meeting
Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch has landed in Madrid to attend a high level meeting with Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, according to Maroc Diplomatique on 4th December.
The two leaders will be discussing a number of key issues such as the Western Sahara and the organization of the 2030 World cup , before signing a number of bilateral treaties. Akhannouch is accompanied by his Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, and a number of business executives.
Diplomatic relations between Spain and Morocco are better than they have been for some time, with Spain supporting Morocco’s position on the Western Sahara and bilateral trade at record levels.
