Morocco announces large investment for tech startups
Morocco ‘s Minister of Digital Transition and Administration Reform Amal el Fallah Seghrouchni announced that 1.3 billion dirham (about $140 million) will be allocated to support new tech startups, according to govenment friendly Hespress on 13th December.
She was speaking at the Digital Now 2025 Forum in Casablanca and added that the funding was designed to attract new private investments and to promote entrepreneurial spirit.
It will be part of the wider “Morocco Digital 2030″ initiative, which aims to modernize the country’s economy and support digital transition, as well as to create thousands of jobs through 3,000 new startups.
