An Israeli settler shot dead 16-year-old Muheeb Ahmed Jibril in the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem, in the Occupied West Bank, according to the Middle East Eye via Wafa news agency on December 16th.

The mayor of Tuqu’, Muhammad al-Badan, said the teenager was killed shortly after mourners dispersed after a funeral of another 16-year-old, Ammar Sabah, who was reportedly killed by the Israeli army.

This is not the first time that Palestinian children have been killed in the West Bank, as 13-year-old Aysam Mualla died in November from injuries sustained from tear gas fired by Israeli troops.
