US to hold talks over next phase of Gaza peace deal in Miami
US Envoy Steve Witkoff will meet representatives from Egypt, Turkey and Qatar in Miami on December 19th, to discuss the development of the Gaza peace deal, a Washington source told AFP, according to a report by The New Arab plus agencies.
Advancement to the next stage of October’s peace deal has been slow, amid reported violations of the ceasefire deal.
If implemented, the settlement would see Israel withdraw from its positions, an interim authority ruling Gaza and the deployment of an international stabilisation force.
