Egypt supports search for Israeli hostage bodies

Egypt has dispatched more than a dozen engineering vehicles to Gaza to assist with searching for the bodies of the 13 Israeli hostages, the Middle East Eye via Al-Araby reported on October 27th.

The vehicles were “officially approved by the Israeli army” for entry, according to Israeli media. An Egyptian official said that six vehicles had entered Gaza on October 26th, while a dozen entered Gaza on October 27th.

The official said that the supply of vehicles formed part of an “ongoing Egyptian-Israeli coordination to facilitate search and rescue operations in areas that witnessed heavy fighting in recent weeks.”
