Lebanon orders army to retaliate against Israeli incursions
Following an Israeli attack that killed a municipal worker, the Lebanese armed forces were ordered on October 30th by President Joseph Aoun to confront any incursions made by the Israeli army in southern Lebanon, according to France 24 plus agencies.
Aoun gave the order to protect Lebanon’s southern territory, and to provide safety for the citizens living in the region. After a ceasefire in November 2024, Israel has still kept its military in Lebanon’s south and has continued to attack the territory.
The attack was described as grave and unprecedented by the National News Agency of Lebanon. The raid was conducted by Israel on a municipality building in the village of Blida.
