Bodies of 30 Palestinians returned by Israel

Gaza officials confirmed that the bodies of 30 Palestinians had been returned by Israel after the remains of two Israeli hostages were given to the Red Cross, according to Asharq al-Awsat on October 31st.

Israel said that the bodies had been identified as those of Sahar Baruch and Amiram Cooper. The Palestinian victims, however, have not yet been identified.

Despite multiple violations of the ceasefire and the ongoing restrictions of humanitarian aid and medical supplies, this exchange is an indication that the American-drafted peace agreement is still going ahead.
