Palestinians reject Hamas disarmament demands

A recent poll by the Palestinian Centre for Policy and Survey Research found that around 70% of Palestinians oppose disarming Hamas, with opposition being the highest in the West Bank, as reported by Maghrebi Week on November 3rd.

The majority also distrust Donald Trump’s proposed peace plan and express deep dissatisfaction with the Palestinian Authority.

Overall, the findings reflect growing support for Hamas and widespread disillusionment with both international peace initiatives and the Palestinian leadership amid ongoing Israeli aggression.
