France marks the tenth anniversary of 2015 terrorist attacks
On November 13th, France is reflecting on the tenth anniversary of the 2015 terrorist attacks that took place in Paris, as President Emmanuel Macron paid a visit with other senior politicians to the first site of the attacks, the Stade de France, according to France 24 via AFP.
The Islamic State jihadist group claimed responsibility shortly after 130 people were killed by suicide bombings and shootings in the Bataclan concert hall, at cafes and restaurants in Paris.
The only surviving member of the terrorist cell that carried out the attacks is currently serving life in jail, while the others died during the attacks or were later killed by the French authorities.
