UK columnist denies Palestinian existence

The British columnist, Melanie Phillips, made a controversial statement at the New York City “Rage Against the Hate” conference in October, according to the Middle East Eye and agencies on November 24th.

At the conference held at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, Phillips declared that there is “no such thing as the Palestinian people” and insisted that only Jews had “any entitlement” to historic Palestine.

Denying the existence of Palestinians is a sentiment among Zionists, and the idea seemingly gained momentum since 1969 when the then-Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir, claimed, “There were no such thing as Palestinians.”
