Morocco reiterates support for Palestinian two-state solution

In a message addressed to Coly Seck, the UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People’s chairman, King Mohammed VI of Morocco expressed his solidarity with the Palestinian people and support for the two-state solution, according to left-leaning newspaper Al Bayane on November 26th.

The letter, sent on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, aimed to confirm Morocco’s position on the issue.

Morocco has continued to strengthen defence ties with Israel, with Israel’s Elbit Systems being a major supplier to the Kingdom, despite Moroccan support for Palestinians.
