Libya set to rebuild bilateral ties with Hungary

Libya and Hungary engaged in high-level discourse involving the potential revival of bilateral ties between the two nations, the Libya Gazette reported on 24th November.

Discussions began between Hungary’s National Security Adviser, Marcell BĂ­rĂł, and Libya’s Prime Minister, Hamid Dbeibah, as the two discussed areas of mutual interest between Libya and Hungary.

Hungary is reportedly highly interested in Libya’s energy sector. The two countries considered appointing an ambassador to help facilitate future collaborations between them.
