12 university students killed in Egypt bus crash

A bus carrying university students has crashed in north-east Egypt, killing 12 and wounding 33, says Egypt’s health ministry as reported by Africa News on October 15th.

Local reports say that the students on the bus were returning from class, while the health ministry did not state what lead to the crash.

Respects to the relatives of the students have been paid by Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, Minister of Health, and Ayman Ashour, Minister of High Education.
