Tunisia’s alleged recycling breakthrough already patented
Tunisia’s recycling breakthrough, turning phosphate waste into paper, has been revealed to be already patented by a German company already in operation in Morocco.
According to The Africa Report, this highly publicised discovery involved the inventor Abdul Samad Al-Kribi touring the presidential palace in Carthage on December 31st, was quickly shot down upon the realisation.
In recent years, Tunisia has made several extraordinary claims such as the Winou el petrole (Where is the oil?) movement of 2018–2020 and the social-media frenzy around assertions that the region of Le Kef had gold deposits.
