National Rally to chair Franco-Moroccan friendship committee

The right-wing French National Rally party led by Marine Le Pen has been elected chair of the Franco-Moroccan parliamentary friendship committee in historic turn of events.

According to Atalayar on January 2nd, the election arrived through political bargains, and comes as a surprise, given National Rally’s outspoken views on immigration.

Sébastien Chenu will chair the committee that will look to support ties and promote initiatives between the two countries.
